BIOGRAPHY
Brian Beacock is an actor, writer, and musician from the San Francisco Bay Area. After completing a successful National Tour of Les Miserables, he moved to Los Angeles where he created a diverse career including over 10 cartoon series so far (so your kids know him), television appearances including Imagination Movers, Kath & Kim, CSI, Passions, NBC’s The Rerun Show where he played Natalie in The Facts of Life, Keith Partridge in The Partridge Family, Endora in Bewitched, and Zach in Saved by the Bell. Film includes, Mulholland Drive, Buying The Cow, Globehunters, and Circuit. His theater credits include Les Miserables, the West Coast premiere of Elegies, When Pigs Fly, Pageant, The Last Hairdresser, Naked Boys Singing, and the insane 35-character one-man show Fully Committed.
Brian has been seen playing a Broadway Axl Rose in Andy Prieboy's cult favorite White Trash Wins Lotto at PS 122 in NYC, the world famous Roxy on The Sunset Strip and as the featured musical guest on the Conan O’Brien Show. He’s sung with the Harlem Gospel Choir in New York City, stomped and slammed drums and trash in Prague, lay naked in bed with Ryan Reynolds, and played Paul Lynde on primetime. Who says he’s not versatile?
He and his work have been featured in the New York Times, US Magazine, People Magazine, TV Guide, Rolling Stone, Backstage West, LA Times, LA Weekly, USA Today, Daily Variety, and Entertainment Weekly. Not just an actor, Brian won the Royal Television Society’s “Best Main Title Theme” Award for his lyrical composition work in “Playing It Straight”, the UK’s hit musical reality program, for which he wrote and produced 30 songs on location, performing them live on-set. Brian has served as a musical director for over 15 years, including shows at Universal Studios – The Blues Brothers, Spiderman Rocks.
His writing portfolio includes: McCracken Live! – Behind the scenes DIY disaster comedy. (TV) Rewrite - A satirical Hollywood thriller. (Film) The Sunshine Biscuit Company – Episodic blue collar drama in the 40’s. (TV) Extended Ed – Hour long dramedy about small towns, and night school. (TV) Moon Shot – Half hour sitcom about the intergalactic hospitality industry. (TV) Hermione – A 50’s rock n roll tragedy – “Greece is the word”. (Stage) His creativity is not limited to the written word and is currently in preproduction/ development on several reality shows he conceived and created, collaborating with 20th Century Fox, and associates of Mark Burnett.
